The Reserve at Katy Celebrates Grand Reopening
Cima Senior Living officially celebrated the grand reopening of The Reserve at Katy on Wednesday, April 15, marking the completion of a comprehensive renovation of the Houston-area assisted living and memory care community.
Located in Katy, Texas, The Reserve at Katy is an 82-residence community offering assisted living and memory care services. The renovation included refreshed interiors throughout the building, full repainting, upgraded resident living spaces, and the installation of CareLife's real-time fall-detection monitoring technology, a safety investment now standard across all Cima Senior Living communities.
The celebration brought together community partners, resident families, team members, and local leaders for an afternoon that reflected both the warmth of the community and the investment behind it. Guests were welcomed by live music from a local quartet, accompanied by a pianist and saxophonist.
The ribbon cutting was led by CEO and Founder Jonathan Judd, joined by Principal and VP of Real Estate Andrew Tashjian, President of Operations Romie Galvan, and Executive Director Ricky Reyes.
"These are communities that deserved reinvestment, and the residents and families here deserved a partner willing to see it through," said Judd. "Katy is the capstone, but the work continues, we're just getting started in this market."
The Reserve at Katy joins sister communities The Reserve at Braeswood and The Reserve at First Colony, both of which celebrated their own grand reopenings earlier this year following similar renovations. Together, the three properties represent Cima's commitment to creating beautiful, well-maintained communities where residents and families feel confident and cared for.
